What is Wise Owl Chalk Synthesis Paint?
A highly pigmented, clay based mineral paint, perfect for revamping your outdated furniture. Thanks to its self leveling properties and incredible adhesion, it is perfect for most surfaces including wood, metal, glass, fabric, and more! Created by an environmental scientist, Wise Owl chalk synthesis paint is also one of the most non toxic and eco friendly furniture paints on the market.
Colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings, although I've gone to great lengths to get them as accurate as possible. Feel free to message me if you would like more photos of a particular color, or if you'd like to see a sample board in person in my shop!
How's the coverage and cure time?
One pint provides approximately 80 sq ft of coverage. CSP dries super fast, depending on your humidity levels, between 1-4 hours. Fully cures in 30 days.
Not sure where to start?
For most jobs, you'll need to clean well (and then clean again with fresh water to remove any cleaning residue) and then assess your surface. If it is slick, shiny, or non porous you may need to give it a quick scuff sand or begin with primer. Then apply 2 coats of paint (allowing to dry for 4-6 hours between coats). Be sure to apply with a good quality brush for the best results!! Once your paint is fully dry, top coat for the best protection. Varnish can be used for the highest durability, Clear OHE for the quickest curing, or Furniture Salve for the easiest and softest finish.

All orders are shipped from North Carolina, United States.
Processing times vary depending on the item, but most orders are shipped within a few business days. If an item is part of a collection or made to order, estimated shipping times will be noted in the product description. (If you are joining The Reconnect Club, all members joining before the 15th of the month will receive their first shipment at the beginning of the following month. If you join after the 15th, you will receive your first shipment the month after.)
Shipping within the U.S. is included for postcards and The Reconnect membership, and is calculated at checkout for all other products. International shipping is not currently available, but is something I hope to offer in the future.
Packaging
Each order is carefully packed by hand to ensure your artwork arrives safely and beautifully. Because this is a small creative studio, slight variations in packaging are part of the experience.
Damaged or Missing Orders
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please reach out within 14 days of the expected delivery date. I will always work with you to make it right, whether that means a replacement or another solution.
Returns & Refunds
Because many items are handmade, made-to-order, or limited in nature, all sales are final and returns are not accepted.
