One of the most important lessons I've learned during this art process is that being an "artist" doesn't mean you have to be able to draw or paint on demand based on memory. I used to think that I wasn't an artist because I have a poor memory and can't picture things in my imagination the way others can. These classes have shown me that so many accomplished artists use reference photos, some even tracing their image! And those references don't make them any less of an artist. Would it be great if I could imagine this bird in my brain and draw it directly from memory? Of course. But that's not how my brain works, and I'm learning to be ok with that.
This colorful bird was found on a ton of platforms, shared by too many people to count, but from my searches, it appears it was photographed by @praveennsiddannavar on Instagram.
This 4x6 postcard is printed on premium matte cardstock and works beautifully for mailing, gifting, or displaying. The back has space for a message, address, and stamp.

Shipping & Delivery
All orders are shipped from North Carolina, United States.
Processing times vary depending on the item, but most orders are shipped within a few business days. If an item is part of a collection or made to order, estimated shipping times will be noted in the product description. (If you are joining The Reconnect Club, all members joining before the 15th of the month will receive their first shipment at the beginning of the following month. If you join after the 15th, you will receive your first shipment the month after.)
Shipping within the U.S. is included for postcards and The Reconnect membership, and is calculated at checkout for all other products. International shipping is not currently available, but is something I hope to offer in the future.
Packaging
Each order is carefully packed by hand to ensure your artwork arrives safely and beautifully. Because this is a small creative studio, slight variations in packaging are part of the experience.
Damaged or Missing Orders
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive at all, please reach out within 14 days of the expected delivery date. I will always work with you to make it right, whether that means a replacement or another solution.
Returns & Refunds
Because many items are handmade, made-to-order, or limited in nature, all sales are final and returns are not accepted.
