I'm learning that painting items or creatures found in nature is easier than finding inspiration within my own imagination. I'm hopeful that will change as this learning process continues, but for now, I'm still stuck in a mental block when it comes to pulling abstract items out of my own brain. So I find myself leaning toward classes that focus on natural subjects that I can simply mimic. My color choices may alter, my backgrounds may not be realistic, but for now the subject matter comes much easier when it is something I can see and mimic.

This 4x6 postcard is printed on premium matte cardstock and works beautifully for mailing, gifting, or displaying. The back has space for a message, address, and stamp.
