How does an artist find their "style"? How do they narrow down their niche and create a signature look? This is a huge part of my art journey and why I embarked on my 100 Days of Art Classes challenge. Trying to discover what feels true to me, what I actually enjoy creating, and what makes me feel a bit of pride. Have I figured that out yet? Not even close. But I am learning that certain styles and certain instructors cause me a bit more enjoyment than others. This turtle painting is definitely one of them. I actually painted him twice, over scrutinizing the first draft. But I'm realizing that the bold and whimsical colors are something I'm drawn to over and over. Turquoise, pink, and purple seem to trigger something in my brain, especially when the colors are not realistically found in the item I'm painting. Will this become a part of my signature style? It's feeling like a good possibility!
This 4x6 postcard is printed on premium matte cardstock and works beautifully for mailing, gifting, or displaying. The back has space for a message, address, and stamp.

Shipping
Items are shipped from one of two locations, depending on the items ordered. Most orders are packaged and shipped by me, from Castle Rock, Colorado. In the event that I am unable to fulfill your order, it will be shipped directly from Wise Owl headquarters in Michigan.
Most orders are shipped USPS Priority. Depending on package weight and current postal wait times, UPS is utilized when it is more beneficial to my customers. Packages are processed and sent within 3 days (often shipped the same day as ordered). If your product needs are urgent, please contact me before ordering so we can discuss the best options for expediting your package.
