Moody Purple Bouquet - Gouache Postcard | Reconnect Club Artwork

Practice makes perfect. This is a lesson we all hear often, but I struggle greatly with. Throughout the process of taking these art classes, I have realized I expect perfection on the first attempt, and if that isn't achieved, I consider it a failure and walk away. This floral bouquet was one of the first times I broke that habit and just....kept....painting...until it was "right". I redid this exact bouquet four or five times before feeling like it was worthy of sharing with the world. The final result may not be perfect, but I walked away from my painting feeling pleased that I stuck it out and could visually clock my improvements and growth. And that in itself is worth celebrating.

This 4x6 postcard is printed on premium matte cardstock and works beautifully for mailing, gifting, or displaying. The back has space for a message, address, and stamp.
